Life

Why doesnt life go as you want it to or plan it to?
I am a planner by nature. I plan everything out. I have list and note on everything. So when something happens that wasnt planned or messes up my plans I dont like it. Just that simple. The last few months have been VERY hard on me. My diagnosis of PCOS has been hard to swallow. On one hand its nice to know that there is a reason I am having health problems and that Im not crazy. But on another hand its depressing to know that I will always struggle with it. Its not a one time deal. Knowing I will always struggle with my weight, always struggle with my sugar levels, always struggle with emotions.
Through it all I am trying to learn to be patient and rely on God to help me through it all. I realize this maybe Gods way of telling me Im not relying on him enough. I am the type of person to want things done right here, right now and I tend to make things happen on my own without waiting. I am learning that life isnt always what you think it will be like. Its not always a box of chocolates.  We have had so many blessings since we been married that its hard to not praise God for all the good he has done. We have been blessed with very nice sized tax refunds the last 2 years,  Chadd has been blessed with a job he loves and makes good money on it, we have been blessed that whenever there is a unexpected bill or something needing replaced money always shows up when we least expect it. I have been blessed to be able to work at home babysitting so I can keep up our house,  I am blessed with a car that runs great and that i love and that we havent had trouble with at all and while his truck has seen better days we are blessed to have it running again. You never realize how hard it is to live with one car then when you have to for a few months. I have been blessed with my headaches being gone and nothing serious causing them. I have been blessed to become friends with a sweet sweet girl who has helped me through the past year so much. I dont know what i would have done without her. Mrs Chelsa you have been amazing the last year, helping me through so much and encouraging me when I was debbie downer. I am so thankful for you and am so happy for you with your little miracle baby on the way!
What Im trying to say is even though you go through bad times there ALWAYS is good things happening to you. You can chose to ignore them and feel sorry for yourself OR you can focus on the good things going on. I am choosing to focus on the good and keep praying for the things I cant control.

Its monday again

Well its back to work. . Although actually I dont have the babies today since there mom wasnt scheduled to work. Its good though since I need to run to the library, the store, clean my house some and tonight we are supposed to be in Oakland city by 5:30. I am taking wedding photos of one of Chadds friends and I want to meet with them and find out what they want and all. Taking wedding photos always makes me nervous so pray for me if you think about it .They are getting married the 7th of Feb.
Our weekend went very well. Friday evening I went out to supper with Chanda and Kendra then they headed off to a movie and I went to Walmart to get my groceries. It was 10 before I got home as it was. Saturday Chadd and I went to Evansville. I had to pick up some Scrapbooking stuff and Hobby Lobby had it 50% off. Yesterday was church. Good service. There was 5 veggiestales movies I havent seen yet so My MIL let me borrow them and we watched them yesterday. Took me back to my childhood! Lol
Oh almost forgot- We got our taxes done saturday night! So glad to get it done. We found we are getting a good amount back and we're only about $300 short of paying the car off totally! Very Thankful for that.

My babies are back!!

Well, today was the first day back babysitting for Sarah and new baby sister Jessica. The morning started off kinda rough and I was getting worried how it was going to go. Jessica has colic so after her bottle this morning she was pretty fussy but I soon found out that if you swaddle her in her blanket really tight she quiets up and goes right to sleep! Sarah was back to her normal self in an hour of getting here. She was pretty leery of Chadd for the first hour, not too sure about him, I guess it had been too long that she was gone. Im glad to have them both now. They are so fun!
(Excuse the tired look on my face. It has been a long and stressful weekend! Although I look like Im stoned)
Sarah giving little sissy a kiss. She is so sweet. After Sarah woke up from her nap the first thing she asked me was "where sissy".

Cold. . . . .

Its cold here. No other way to describe it. Freezing cold. Last night cleaning the library here in town the windex froze up as I was wiping it on the outside windows. I am ready to move to Florida but Chadd and God are telling me no. My place is here. So I bundle up against the cold and try to have peace about it and be content where I am.
I get my baby Sarah and Jessica back tuesday!! I am so excited. I have never watched a baby 6 weeks old. Sarah was 2 months old when I started watching her. Jessica is so tiny. She was 8 # at her 5 week checkup. She was only 6 something when she was born then she ended up in NICU and went down to 5 pounds. So she is just now gaining it all back. If she is anything like Sarah she will be a chunk in a few short months. Sarah was tiny when I started with her and within 2 months she was almost 20 # !!
Since my diagnosis came on PCOS I have been instructed to start a Low Carb/ Low sugar diet to level my Insulin levels out and see if it helps my symptoms. For the first 2 weeks I have to have NO CARBS AND NO SUGAR. If you know me you know I like my sweets. So its gonna be hard. I started on Tuesday. I will be so thankful whenthe first 2 weeks are up and I can eat some sugar and some carbs. BUT if it helps me feel better I am all for it.

More memories

Well, I am finally finished with our honeymoon album now. Its such a relief to have those both done. I am now working on sorting all the photos from our first year of marriage. I have all the photos printed up until this christmas. It has been such a wild year. Lots of ups and a few downs. I feel like It has been one of the roughest years for me. With my aweful headaches that we never did find a reason for but praise God they are gone!!! Problems with Chadds truck, learning to trust God more and more each day, Broken toe in August, Shoulder out of socket in September and therapy for 2 months, And last month I was officially diagnosed with PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian syndrome. It pretty much means that my hormones are all messed up. Looking back I have had all the symptoms of it for years but never knew what it was.It also means I am at a higher risk to develop Diabetes, Heart Disease and Ovarian Cancer. So it has been a long hard year for me but I couldnt have made it through with out my rock, My true Love. He is amazing. My Chadd.
So I leave you here with some photos from our first year of marriage. . . . . .

Memories

Well I finally finished my wedding scrapbook! Yay! I am about 1/2 done with my honeymoon album then I start on all the photos from over the past year. Im excited to be done ! I enjoy doing it but after a while Im just ready to have it done!
While going back over our wedding photos I am amazed at how it seems just yesterday but yet so long ago. Reminiscing about all our wedding memories, everything that went on the week before the wedding, my bachelorette party where nobody knew how to run a gas grill, my dear husband and his groomsmen coming over and TPing the house and ringing the door bell and scaring the crap out of us, then all us bridesmaids going to CVS at 10 at night to get bright red lipstick to write on the guys cars as revenge. Then there was scary panic moments, like after decorating the church friday and realizing we hadnt printed the wedding bulletins yet. It was a wonderful time and although we had some hard spots with the planning and alot of stress I honestly can say that I would get married to my wonderful husband all over again.

So here is a blast from our "dating" past. . .

Ready for normal . . .Is there such a thing?

Is there such a thing as normal? I am ready for life to get back to normal, whatever that is. Chadd goes back to work monday and I go back to work babysitting on January 18th or 19th. I enjoy having chadd home with me for 2 weeks but ya know it really messes up any schedule my day might have. So I look forward to working on my wedding scrapbook next week. I started it last winter and got to the end of the cermony so I hope to complete the reception and honeymoon next week. BTW- I just ordered all my photos that we have taken of Chadd and I since we got married and it was like 170 photos and I only paid $15 to have them sent to my door! That was the total cost. . . Snapfish rocks by the way. HIGHLY recommend it. Plus they have a 110% guarantee so even if you dont like the photos they send you, you can send them back and they will reprint them or give you a refund.
Today I went to walmart and got some much needed groceries. We havent really done grocery shopping since before christmas. Walmart was crazy and I am so glad to be home! Now I need to stop goofing off on here and clean my house.
If you think of us this week say a prayer for Chadd and I. We have some major decisions to make this week and alot of stress going on in our lives right now. Alot of decisions needing to be made at once. We would appreciate any prayers. Our sermon new years eve at church definetly hit home. .. . The verse for the sermon was
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Phil 4:6

P.S. Check out my food blog. I posted Fajita pizza recipe. It was real yummy!
