Pray

Ok just have a quick moment here to write this but wanted to get this out there in the prayer world. Megan and Matt (you can see their blog on my blog list) are in the process of adopting a little girl and are at the hospital now with the newborn.Megan is my 2nd cousin and I am so excited for them! They are signing the papers at 11:30 but as we all know nothing is final until its over. So please pray for them if you think about it that everything goes smooth and they are home with their little baby soon!!
Also, my first appointment with my midwife is this coming monday and I am extremely nervous, it will be the first time to hear the heartbeat. So if you think of me then please say a little prayer that everything is ok!

The papers are all signed and its final!! Praise God!

10 Weeks

Here is me and my 10 weeks belly. (Photo was taken today so 1 day early but I had a free moment so I decided to take it while I had a chance) My clothes are no longer fitting right but the maternity pants are too big! Lol. Someone told me to buy some bella bands but they are so stinking expensive!
So far I havent gained any weight. I have actually lost 5-7 pounds. I weight less now then I did when I got pregnant. Mostly that comes from eating so little. Thankfully I am starting to feel much better. I had a few good days last week and now this week so far I am feeling better and wanting to eat. I started with morning sickness at 4-1/2 weeks though so I am ready for this stage to be over! Someone was telling me the other day that they didnt have any symtoms in the first trimester! Ha! Well I have been "blessed" with every one of them I think. Nausea, Food aversions (seriously I became a vegetarian, I hate meat right now! Lol), Cravings, EXTREME Fatigue, Headaches, not sleeping well, mood swings, constipation & Diarreha (dont ask me how you can have both but you can!) Through it all though I keep telling myself this is a blessing and trying to not complain.

LB's Room

Hey all! Just wanted to post a few photos of LB's new crib. . lol. We found a crib used but in really good condition for $75 and it is a $300 crib new!





Cody isnt sure what all is going on with all this baby stuff in the house. He doesnt like it one bit. I wonder how he is going to react with a baby in the house 24/7. He doesnt like Jessica that I babysit cause she cries and it bugs him.

The baby bedding is NOT boys bedding. lol. I know it looks like it in the photos. Its actually teddy bears. I made a quilt with this design in high school for Home Ec and so we bought bedding to match. The quilt I made is going on the wall eventually.

Ready for Spring . . . .

. . . . Is it here yet? I am so tired of dreary cold days! I have been opening my windows the last few days and enjoying the lovely breeze. The good news is with Spring comes the end of my first trimester! I have been so stinkin tired lately I feel like a lazy bum! My poor house has been neglected but thankfully last week I had a few good days where I felt like doing something so I got the floors mopped and the livingroom dusted and my wonderful husband cleaned the bathroom saturday. Through the week I pretty much just get the laundry done and dishes kept clean and thats it. With still watching the girls my energy level is down! Jessica has been extremely fussy latley and it takes all my energy to mess with her. Last week I held her constantly, the few times I put her in her swing so I could eat or go to the bathroom she screamed. If anyone has ever had a fussy baby you know how tiring it can be! Even though its not my baby from 6am-3pm she is my baby. Thankfully today she is content to sit in her swing so I am thankful!
This morning I got our my seeds that I finally got friday and planted my "garden" in pots in my kitchen. I started seeds for tomatoes & squash and some flowers for my pots on the porch and then when we get my garden all tilled up I am planting corn and radishes. I have been craving tomatoes so bad and the ones at walmart are so nasty! This is the first spring where things are coming up on there own in my flowerbeds, last spring I was just planting most of the stuff so I am excited to see what all is coming up. I planted some bulbs last fall and now I dont remember what I planted where! I have to get another load of mulch to put on my flowerbeds but other than that I dont have to do too much with them.
I need to run .Sarah is asking for cookies. This girl could eat cookies all day long! Shes gonna be mad when she finds out Shannon doesnt have cookies today.
We are thinking and praying for you today Chelsa!! I know today is a hard day and you are in our prayers!!

Ok, so I decided its time for a haircut. My hair takes a long time to grow and right now its at that "odd" stage where its a odd length and no matter what you do it doesnt look right. So I need some advice. . . Which one??

Funny from Sarah

Well since Sarah came back after the 6 weeks I was off work when jessica was born Sarah has been all talk. Very Vocal and alot of stuff has come out of her mouth that makes you turn and look at her like where did you learn that? For a not even 2 year old she is one smart cookie.
Yesterday She wanted to hold Jessica. "Haold Her", So I let sissy sit on her lap and she was all sweet and talking to her and saying "Wuv u sissy" and kissing her. So I go to get my cell phone to record this to show mom and as soon as I hit record on my phone Sarah looks right at my phone and says "I farted, Shannon I farted, Farted shannon" over and over. I was like sarah talk to sissy like you were. "No shannon, I fart."
Last week one day Chadd was in the bathroom getting ready for work and Sarah walked in the bathroom pointed to the toilet seat (which was up) and looked at Chadd and said" CHADD! NO. NO. NO!" Then she came out here to the livingroom where I was and said "Shannon. Chadd No no!" I have no idea where she got the idea that the toilet seat has to be down unless her mom tells her dad to cause i dont think I have ever said anything to Chadd about it.
She is definetly one interesting little girl. She is so into bodily functions right now. She has to tell me everytime she burps or farts. Im just waiting for the day she comes in and starts cussing. Her mom thinks nothing to say bad words for poop and stuff.
