Ok, after going over my whole kitchen this morning and cleaning it til it shines I have to say I am totally in love with the Mr Clean Magic Eraser
I wiped all my white cabinets off with it and they look good as new, I wiped down our trashcan in the kitchen which was totally gross but it looks like new. And 2 weeks ago I did something to our bathtub and though I had scuffed it black but Mr clean Magic Eraser took it right off! I am convinced this this is magic.

Reading

I just finished reading a amazing book and I thought I would share it with you all. It was the book about the two girls that was in the accident in 2006 at Taylor University where they were mistaken for each other. If you havent read this book I suggest reading it. My Slap on the forehead moment

While cleaning my house today I had the tv on and was flipping through channels and came across this show "Secret lives women lead" . Todays show was about women who shop ALOT and have actually filed bank rupt because of it. They went through 4 ladies and there stories. It was incredible. The one lady got inheritance from her grandfather when he died in the amount of $50,000 when she was 18 and filed bank rupt at the age of 21 all from spending that money on clothes. I just sat here for a bit and thought what I could do with that much money. . .I could pay our house off!! Anyways, I just found it astonishing how much those women spent on clothing. It was eye opening to me at least.
Anyways, my cousin is coming this weekend and going to stay here so I have been doing laundry and cleaning and trying to get my spare room cleaned out.

Fall Party at Church

Last night our Church had a Fall party at a cabin of one of the couples that goes to our church. It started out really nice but got COLD as the night went on. I was about froze by the time we got home!! It was fun though. We are on the Adult Ministries committee so we had to stay and clean up too. I came home and took a hot bath to thaw out. I think fall is about over and winter in coming in strong!!

Good morning!! Today is "friday" for me. Sarah isnt coming tomorrow so I get all day friday off so it feels like friday today. Im not sure yet what I will get done tomorrow. Im hoping to get my house all cleaned today so tomorrow is free. Yesterday I took all the old caulk off around our bathtub and last night chadd put this new tape type caulk down so hopefully it will last longer than the caulk. I thought I messed my bathtub up. After I took the caulk off I took pure bleach and was trying to kill any mold that was behind where the caulk was before we put the new stuff up. Well I poured bleach on it and let it set for a bit and came back and rinsed it, came back a bit later and found brown spots around the drain in our tub. I was like oh crap. I felt horrible! I thought the bleach took the finish off. (our tub is really old, like the origional one in the house built in the 50's and its cast iron) Thankfully I went out and bought a Mr clean magic eraser and whatever it was came off!! (I love magic erasers, if you have never tried one I suggest you do!) Sigh, that will teach me to try to clean. A few months ago while cleaning I broke my toe and now I about ruined our tub. . Stupid cleaning. We thought about putting in a new tub but its gonna be hard because our bathroom door is only 2-1/2 feet wide instead of over 3 feet like normal doors.
We have a crazy month at church this month. 2 weeks ago we have Membership sunday and had lunch after, last week we had movie night on sunday night, had snacks again. This saturday we have fall party at someones house, food again, then the last sunday of this month we have our pastor and his wife's anniversary dinner, more food!! Lol. I told Chadd I dont think I am fully Nazarene yet cause I am about sick of all the food!

In love with Caramel Apple Pizza

Ok so I made a pan of Caramel Apple Pizza (recipe in my Food blog) yesterday and it is almost gone already! Yeah, Bad me! But I for some reason am totally in love with that stuff right now. I guess maybe its because its fall and Caramel Apples are just a fall food? I dont know but its yummy!
There has been one verse that has stuck out to me the last week and means alot to me. I have been struggling with somethings the past few weeks and wouldnt you know right in the middle of my struggles in sunday school the verse that they used? Its the one on the top of my blog but here is the full verse. . . .

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;

And It has helped me so much the last few weeks. Last sunday in church we had our 100th year celebration. The Nazarene church has been around for 100 years this fall. So to celebrate they took in new members, I have been going to the membership classes for the past month and I have to say even if I had decided not to become a member I would have still taken the classes. I learned so much from them. Sunday I officially became a member of the Huntingburg Church of the Nazarene. They are a wonderful group of people and I am looking forward to raising out future children in the church. I struggle sometimes with fitting in at church since I have only been going for a little over a year but I realized, I was not going out of my way to be friendly to them either. Anyone that knows me knows I am shy unless I know you. Its not my character to just walk up to someone and start talking. But This week I made myself promise that I will start talking to more people at church, make myself friendly. So we will see how that goes.
