7 months

Kianna is 7 months old today!!!

What Ki is up to-
*Still not sleeping through the night but it is much better, she usually only gets up once!
*Still loves her baths!
*Took her first vacation to gatlinburg and had a blast, she loved the hot tub.
*Learned to "give five", Gives kisses, knocks her blocks over, Rolls the balls to me.
*Is into EVERYTHING! So far we have found her in the dogs food, dogs water, playing in the toilet, somehow OPENED the vaseline bottle and had it all over her hands!
*Is in 6-9 month clothes although the onesies are getting a bit tight. Wears a medium diaper.
*Likes the dogs and loves to pull their tails
* Tries to walk, pulls herself up on everything and can walk if pushing something and holding on to it.
*I have no idea how much she weighs, I know she is heavier then her 6 month checkup though.

Vacation & House

We just got back from a awesome vacation with my family in Gatlinburg! It was so much fun! I love that area, I am ready to go back already!
I am posting a few photos from vaca, only a fraction of the photos we took. I think between me and my sister we have 450 photos. So yeah, you are only getting a fraction of them!
Kianna did so well, traveling down and back my sister rode with us and she entertained Ki in the car. That helped alot!! She even slept really well in her pack and play while down there. Aside from a few meltdowns she had she did excellent. She loved the aquarium, she just stares at the fish.

Im not sure what moms ever did without baby carriers!! These things are so handy, me and chadd pretty much wore Kianna all over on vacation. She doesnt like her stroller so this was a life saver!!

Daddy and Ki in the hot tub. She LOVED the hot tub. She was splashing everybody and she kept splashing herself in the face and she would wipe her eyes and start doing it again.

I also celebrated my first mothers day while on vaca! Chadd (aka Kianna) gave me a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure!! I cant wait to use it.

Please pray with us that our house sells soon! We only have 3 weeks left in the contract with our real estate agent to sell it and we dont want to renew the contract cause its costly. We do have someone coming to look at our house monday evening so please pray with us that this is the one to buy it!! Im so tired of getting my hopes up that it will sell then nothing happening. One guy told our agent he was very interested, well he gave her his number and name and she tried to call him back later and he had gave her a bogus number and name. . . I dont know why you would do that, if your not interested just say so!!!

Baby Names- Show us your life

Kellys Korner is having SHOW US YOUR LIFE FRIDAY and todays topic is Baby names. I didnt link to her site cause mine is private so nobody can read it but thought I would participate anyways.

I wont share any names for future kids cause thats a secret ;-)

When I was pregnant with Kianna we had 3 girl names and 3 boy names we liked. Chadd wasnt much help picking out just 1 name cause he would always say, you pick one from those 3, I like all 3. . Lol. When we finally found out it was a girl we narrowed it down to 3 girl names. They were
Lily Briann, Kianna Brielle or Madalyn. Well, when my cousin found out she was pregnant with twin girls and announced their names- Madison & Ava, Madalyn got thrown out for us since we it was pretty close in sound. We went back and forth between Lily and Kianna for quite a while. We finally decided that Lilly Smith was just too common a name thus we chose Kianna!
Kianna means Living with Grace & Brielle means God is my strength.
For the next baby(s) who knows on a name, ha ha! We always said we loved the name Brycen even before we got married if we ever had a boy, well, then I became good friends with a sweet sweet girl and what is her sons name? Yep, Brycen. . Lol. So we threw that name out and we do have 2 or 3 boy names, but by the time we are ready for another baby I may have a whole new set of names!!
I admit, it is very hard to name a baby with the last name SMITH since its soo common and there are a gazillion smiths! AND then my moms family has 80 some people, my dads family has around 40 people, Chadds dad's family has 40 or so people so try to name your baby something that hasnt already been used by family or doesnt sound like a name already used!!
