Welcome to my laundry room! Kelly's Korner is hosting another show us where you live and this week its bonus rooms, laundry rooms. I dont have a bonus room so you get to see my laundry room.
As you can see my laundry room is a long narrow room and with the washer, laundry sorter, dryer and hot water heater (behind the door) on the one side its pretty narrow to walk down. Plus we dont have a garage or basement so Chadds tool box there at the end gets to live in my laundry room. We also have to store our camping equiptment, lawn chairs, any computers that Chadd is currently working on (see the mess on the floor) Coats, shoes. . all in the laundry room. And yes, I desperatly need new curtains. Im working on it. lol
I do LOVE these cabinets above the washer. Even though I cant reach them (Yes, I stand on my washer to get stuff down.) They store our cleaning supplies, car wash supplies, extension cords, weed killer, flower planting stuff. . .
Our bedroom closet is too small for all my shoes and Chadds to fit so his shoes get to stay in the laundry room too. We did have them on a little rack on the floor to the right of the door but the dogs kept dragging them around so I hung them up. See the butt ugly blue, gold & pink floor? Lol. Gotta love 50's houses!! This is getting new floor tile the same time the kitchen floor is getting done. Hopefully in the next couple weeks!!

at least your cabinets have doors! :) ugh my laundry room needs a major makeover-- or at least paint. i think i will buy some and then he won't have a choice but to let me paint b/c he won't want to waste the $$! haha!
